Terms of Service

Welcome to STEMIND ("we", "platform"). By accessing and using STEMIND's services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Our services are provided under B2B (Business-to-Business) and B2C models for the scientific research community.

STEMIND provides a "Research OS" platform including but not limited to:

• ·Searching for scientific literature via arXiv, PubMed, and Semantic Scholar
• ·Storing personal and group research data (Library, Lab shared collections)
• ·AI-powered research pipeline: EXPLORE, DEVELOP, and VALIDATE modes
• ·Smart Alerts, AI Digest, Knowledge Graph, and Conference Tracker
• ·Standardized citation export (BibTeX, APA, IEEE)

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the services at any time with or without prior notice.

You are responsible for:

• →Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials (JWT tokens and passwords)
• →Immediately notifying us of any unauthorized use of your account

We reserve the right to lock or delete accounts if we detect abusive behavior (e.g., API abuse, unauthorized data scraping, mass account creation via disposable emails).

• →Research Documents: STEMIND does not own the copyright of scientific papers indexed through the platform. Data is aggregated from open sources (arXiv, PubMed, Semantic Scholar). You are responsible for complying with the license of each paper.
• →Your Data: You retain full ownership of the notes, Lab structures, and data you generate on STEMIND. By using the service, you grant us the right to store and process this data to provide features for you.

• ·Service fees are securely processed through Paddle.com (Merchant of Record)
• ·By selecting a paid plan (Starter, Lab), you agree to pay the monthly or annual fees upfront
• ·Electronic invoices are automatically generated and downloadable from Settings > Billing
• ·See our Refund Policy for cancellation and refund terms

Services are provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, STEMIND shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from: AI-generated content containing omissions or hallucinations, AI Digest inaccuracies, system interruptions, or inability to use the platform. Always apply your own scientific judgment to AI outputs.

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom (UK) and apply the data governance standards of the European Union (GDPR). Any disputes will be resolved in competent UK courts.
